Econocom 47 cc trading as Qualicon Construction is a closed corporation founded on the 1st of February 2002.
At Qualicon Construction our aim is to always provide excellent service to our clients and we firmly believe that success will be unavoidable if we continuously and without exception deliver good quality buildings, within the budget and on time to all our clients.
Although Qualicon Construction’s main focus is on the construction of new buildings, we have built up an impressive track record with regard to the renovations and refurbishments of existing buildings, as well as with the provision of new civil infra structure to all types of buildings and developments. We view ourselves as “fast track” experts and we currently target projects varying from approximately R 2 500 000.00 in value up to R250 000 000.00 in value and beyond.
Our managing member, Kotie (JM) van Tonder has 33 years of experience in the building industry, mainly on “fast track” projects, thus having the experience to offer our clients a wealth of experience, expertise and a comprehensive professional service.
Our newest member, Matlakala Radebe joined Qualicon Construction in 2012 as a final year university student in quantity surveying. In the years to follow Matlakala establish herself as irreplaceable in the Qualicon set up and her continuous dedication, hard work and ability to work with clients, professional consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and co-workers afforded her the opportunity to acquire a member interest in Qualicon Construction in 2018.
Qualicon’s client base includes companies such as CSIR, Vodacom, Netcare, Protea Hotels, Fruit & Veg City and Shoprite Checkers. We have also successfully completed a large number of projects for the Sol Plaatje University and for the Free State University.
Qualicon Construction is a member of the Master Builders Association.
Qualicon Construction currently has a CIDB level 8 grading.
Qualicon Construction currently is a level 1 B-BBEE enterprise.
